Three coup d'etat in 60 years. There has been a lot of tentative to over throne a government in power in guinea between the last 60 years.

The Army has always been in the center of changes of government in Guinea politics since independence.

Since the  Father of independence,Sekou Toure, has fight for the country independence, have experienced so many temptation of coup d'etat from out the country, since then, he has given a certain power to the military in ruling of the country.

Die in 1984 ( Sekou Toure ). The change of government has arrived from coup d'etat by the colonel Lansana Conte who overthrew the transition president Louis Beavogui and put in place a national military committee to rule Guinea.

After one year, there has been another temptation of coup d'etat from another colonel known as Diarra Traore, without succeed and this cause a lot trouble among the armies.

 Next movement was in 1996, where the soldiers went for a demonstration and Lansana Conte save himself from death, but unfortunately die in 2008.

Just one day after his dead, a young captain in the of Moussa Dadis Camara, took over the throne as the leader of national committee of democracy and development.

With the arrived of Alpha Conde, who has been in politic for so many years even went to jail for 20 months, now in power, guinean are hoping that democracy would rules their country and the transition will be pacific. 

But there has been manipulation in the country constitution and election. Guineans has started ask questions about the power or government of Alpha Conde and to day he's overthrew by his own military.
